My late wife passed away August 8th complications over diabetes compounded by being anorexic.. she had been hospitalized 20 times in the last three of the six years that she was diabetic. Couple of years ago to cheer her up I told her than an Aston Martin would make me more attentive husband She would still have to go back and forth to doctors appointments in hospitals but wouldn't it be a far more enjoyable Drive? It didn't happen, we have a 2002 Toyota Corolla. But the Rapide I think would be a perfect Aston Martin for a family, suitable for 2 and up for 4. Too bad it was discontinued. I think it would have a more suitable and larger sales than the new DPX.

This is a very nice car for 60K, but there's too many quirks. Frankly, it's not powerful enough to warrant rear bucket seats. For my money, I'd get a newer Audi S7.

Cant help thinking those swan doors are a nightmare in car parks. In the UK where most car parks have just enough room to ensure your car door will *always* hit the car next to you if you have any hope of getting out, they will get dinged in the first 24 hours of ownership.

I don't think price killed this car, it was the fact that it was basically unusable as a sedan designed to carry 4 people. Price wouldn't have mattered if it had been packaged correctly.

To be honest, I understand why it was so expensive back in it's day. It had rear seat screens, and, well, I'm not exactly sure how many car's had the same feature as this, but, I can imagine there weren't many of those. And there were more cool "quirks and features" then I would want to mention, and not just get people to watch the video instead.

Get one for $60k then get a $30k bill after the first service to catch up on all the missed services by the previous owner.

That’s it... that’s obviously the reason this car was dead on arrival. It’s too similar in shape and style to a Vanquish or a DB9... but just stretched and with two extra doors. So if you’re getting, you ARE getting it for the back seats. But those backseats are useless. Rear seat passengers don’t ride in a car to be tossed around

Have to rip out that old Garmin gps with full force and place in a new full HD touch screen with everything in it and you're good to go. If you're willing to buy an Aston and know you'll spend thousands on maintenance then it shouldn't be a problem.
